In recent news, Amanda Bynes became the target of Drag Queen RuPaul for tweetinf to People Magazine "I dare you to follow me you fagots!" Rupaul said Amanda's tweet shows her narrow mindedness and bigotry towards gays (maybe not in those exact words). Here's my problem with the entire situation. In the inner city the word fagot isnt a homophobic slur. It is meant as a diss of sorts, ie. a soft person, a weak person, a punk. Now I can understand how some gay people may get offended by the word but a lot of "urban" celebs have recieved a lot of negative flack over calling some one a fagot, ie. Kobe Bryant and the ref. And I do not think it's fair to them. But I guess the word fagot is quickly replacing the word nigger, my fault, I meant the N word. Smh....people need to stop being overly sensitive because if you're called a fagot then you must be one and I'm not referring to the homophobic slur.
